DUBAI, UAE, Feb. 1, 2025 — The sixth UAE SWAT Challenge commenced at Al Ruwayyah Training City in Dubai.

UAE SWAT Challenge 2025-Day 1

Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, Dubai Police Commander-in-Chief, opened the event, welcoming international elite tactical teams.

A Thrilling Opening Ceremony

The opening ceremony featured the UAE National Anthem performed by the Dubai Police band and various displays.

Lieutenant General Al Marri welcomed participants, celebrating the event’s growth and global impact, emphasizing camaraderie, knowledge exchange, and enhanced tactical performance.

The Competition Begins

The first event, the Assault Event, tested teams’ coordination, marksmanship, and speed. Over four days, teams will compete in five challenges: Obstacle Course, Officer Rescue, Tower Event, and Tactical Event, demanding tactical skills, physical strength, and teamwork.

A $260,000 Prize Pool

With a $260,000 prize pool, daily awards go to top teams, culminating in a grand prize for the overall champions.

A Growing Challenge

This year’s event features a record 105 teams, showcasing its global standing. Lieutenant General Al Marri’s support ensured the highest international standards.

More Than Just a Competition

The challenge promotes knowledge sharing, allowing participants to learn from each other and adopt best practices. It also assesses teams’ performance under pressure.

Alongside the competition, an exhibition displays tactical equipment, innovations, and partnerships. Family-friendly activities and food vendors offer a complete spectator experience.
