CLEVELAND, May 19, 2025 – 4AIR, a leading provider of sustainability solutions for business aviation, has announced the verification of over 100 locations worldwide that supply Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). These locations are featured on 4AIR’s interactive “Where to Find SAF” map.
The SAF map, which is powered by 4AIR and also accessible on Aviation International News (AIN) Online, is an essential tool for operators seeking SAF around the world.
According to 4AIR’s president, Kennedy Ricci, the increased availability of SAF is a significant milestone that makes decarbonization solutions more accessible to aircraft operators. He added that 4AIR aims to empower operators to adopt sustainable practices using tools like the SAF map and the Assure SAF Registry.
As SAF becomes more readily available in various blends and from diverse feedstocks, tracking its use is increasingly important. 4AIR’s Assure SAF Registry assists customers in tracking and verifying SAF usage for both voluntary and regulatory reporting. Accurate documentation is crucial for environmental reporting and helps operators demonstrate their dedication to sustainability.
Nancy Bsales, Chief Operating Officer, noted that the SAF map initially listed fewer than 20 locations when it launched in 2021. The rapid expansion to 114 locations by the end of Q1 shows the business aviation industry’s dedication to reducing emissions and building a more sustainable future. 4AIR is proud to be at the forefront of this change.
Approximately 50 locations added SAF in 2024, with 15 new locations in Q1 2025 alone. These 114 locations provide SAF to business aviation at 92 airports, including 47 in the US, 43 in Europe, 1 in Asia, and 1 in the Middle East.
The increase in SAF availability highlights the industry’s continuous commitment to sustainability.
Scott Cutshall, President Real Estate & Sustainability with Clay Lacy, stated that SAF is one of the most effective ways the industry can reduce its environmental impact today. He added that they are proud to supply SAF and collaborate with the industry to help operators take meaningful steps toward sustainable flight.
Beatrice Batty, Sr. Director of Environment & Sustainability at Signature Aviation, said that since introducing strategic partnerships to bring permanent SAF supplies to market, they have focused on building a comprehensive SAF supply chain in private aviation. They are continuing to take the necessary steps to accelerate its use, supporting guests, partners, and the aviation industry in achieving net-zero carbon emissions.
Joao Martins, Jet Aviation VP Regional FBO Operations Europe, said they are dedicated to providing seamless service to all customers, including offering access to SAF when and where needed. They have been working with partners to expand availability where it makes the most environmental sense and were proud to add their global headquarters, largest maintenance site, and VIP completions center in Basel, Switzerland, to the list earlier this year.
C.R. Sincock, II, Executive Vice President of Avfuel Corporation, mentioned that Avfuel established Avfuel Technology Initiatives Corporation over a decade ago to promote next-generation aviation innovations, investing in solutions that now cover various sustainable fuel pathways, including hybrid-electric power systems. Avfuel is proud to provide SAF for operators to fly more sustainably and recognizes the important role business aviation has played in adopting these fuels and leading the way toward a more sustainable future.
