CAIRO, Feb. 3, 2025 — Foundever, a global leader in customer experience solutions, is substantially increasing its operations in Egypt, planning to create 5,000 new positions over the next four years. A key part of this expansion is a new, advanced contact center in Luxor, complementing its existing facilities in Cairo.

This expansion demonstrates Foundever’s commitment to Egypt as a vital location for global business services. The company’s growth leverages Egypt’s reputation as a global hub for CX services and IT offshoring, fueled by a skilled workforce and strong government support. In the past year, Foundever has seen remarkable 115% growth in Egypt, now serving 15 clients in 14 languages.

The new Luxor facility will enable the company to access the region’s extensive talent pool, contributing to socio-economic progress in Upper Egypt. With plans to create numerous new jobs, Foundever is set to further strengthen Egypt’s role as a leader in the global outsourcing sector.

The company has also extended its Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Egypt’s Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) for another four years, confirming its long-term commitment to investing in the country’s talent and infrastructure.

“This growth reflects the continued success of Egypt’s outsourcing industry, a highly promising sector with a strong global presence. The new center in Luxor shows increased confidence in Egyptian talent nationwide and their ability to provide internationally competitive services. The Ministry remains dedicated to creating a supportive investment environment through advanced digital infrastructure, progressive policies, and comprehensive training programs to equip our workforce with the technical, linguistic, and professional skills needed in global markets,” stated Egypt’s Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Dr. Amr Talaat.

By expanding to Luxor, Foundever is furthering its strategy to utilize the potential of underutilized talent pools, while supporting Egypt’s rising prominence as a premier offshoring location.
