HANGZHOU, China, April 14, 2025 — In April 2025, Guozi Robotics is celebrating nine years of collaboration with Staples, a U.S.-based company. Throughout their partnership, the companies have entered into two strategic cooperation agreements. Guozi has provided Staples with over 1,000 robots, including various Picking AGVs, which are utilized in key warehouse locations like Charlotte, Pennsylvania, Denver, and New York.
A large number of these robots have been operating reliably for almost a decade and continue to be crucial to Staples’ distribution centers. They’ve facilitated a 60% reduction in picking labor and a 50% decrease in picking staff workload, leading to significant improvements in picking efficiency and accuracy, as well as considerable operational benefits.
Currently, Guozi Robotics offers a complete range of Picking AGV products, including double-deep reach, adaptive, and dual-mast models. Its proprietary integrated software, GRACE Xpress, provides robust features such as full-process simulation, which greatly reduces on-site deployment times, and AI-driven adaptive location calibration, which uses deep learning algorithms to quickly enhance storage positioning accuracy during AGV operation. Furthermore, Guozi’s robotic systems allow for seamless, customized integration with users’ higher-level business systems.
Guozi has also cultivated a strong partnership with Staples to jointly develop intelligent picking stations, where robotic arms are used instead of manual picking. AI algorithms consistently improve picking efficiency and accuracy.
*The upcoming phase of the collaboration will prioritize:
- Integrating humanoid robots and dexterous hands to improve station picking techniques, progressing towards fully automated operations across all stations.
- Automating packaging and sorting processes, focusing on contactless verification and autonomous packing to create a fully automated warehouse environment.
