TOKYO, February 10, 2025 — AUTOCRYPT, a leading provider of vehicle testing solutions, and Hitachi Solutions, Ltd., an IT solutions provider, have partnered to bring AutoCrypt Security Fuzzer to the Japanese market, commencing January 22, 2025. This launch marks the first domestic availability of this globally recognized security testing tool in Japan.
This expands on the companies’ existing collaboration. AUTOCRYPT already provides its V2X security solution, with an option to integrate its security library into Hitachi Solution’s Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) Middleware Platform. This new agreement reinforces Hitachi Solutions’ dedication to advanced cybersecurity tools and aligns with AUTOCRYPT’s expertise in cutting-edge automotive testing technologies.
AutoCrypt Security Fuzzer is specifically designed for in-vehicle software development and testing. It features automated test case generation, producing over one million test cases based on ISO 14229-1:2020, covering all 26 Service Identifiers (SIDs) within the Unified Diagnostic Service (UDS) protocol. The tool also offers continuous automated execution for individual ECUs or integrated systems, streamlining the testing process. Users receive comprehensive results, including summaries and visualizations, enabling efficient review and re-execution to address identified vulnerabilities.
