Bartel’s Auto Clinic, established in 1959, is a well-known Chicago-area chain with prominent locations in Carol Stream, Oswego, and Plainfield. Bartel’s will now be part of the Houston Boston Partnership. This move, spearheaded by Patrick Bartel, Amy Bartel, and Adam Bartel, combines many years of partnership and mutual respect. Todd Hayes, Co-Founder of the Houston Boston Partnership, has collaborated with the Bartel family for over 20 years, successfully implementing the Key to Key to Callbacks business model and transforming their stores into successful, seven-day-a-week retail operations.

“We’ve always believed Bartel’s was an ideal fit,” Hayes said. “They’ve combined excellent hospitality with outstanding automotive leadership. This is more than just business; it’s a reunion of reliable partners and lifelong friends.”

Additionally, Scott’s Auto Repairs, a successful shop in Houston led by Scott Strait, has also officially joined the platform. Hayes and Strait have a professional relationship that has lasted over 30 years, with Scott’s store already using the Key to Key system. This addition brings another fully integrated unit in Houston, further enhancing the platform’s presence and operational alignment.

“These are special partnerships,” Hayes added. “These are operators who share our values and are driven by performance, and who have been using our model for years. Now, it’s official – we’re in this together.”

With the inclusion of Bartel’s Auto Clinic and Scott’s Automotive, the Houston Boston Partnership now manages 12 units and generates over $65 million in annual revenue, with strong income performance and more partnerships planned.

Together with AutoShop Answers, the Houston Boston Partnership is transforming the independent automotive service industry by integrating AI-driven operations, top-tier recruiting, exceptional customer service, and Auto Hospitality™. This is more than business growth; it’s a movement creating a new national benchmark.
