MADRID, Nov. 22, 2024 — The Imperial Springs International Forum (ISIF), a joint venture between Club de Madrid and its partners, will convene its ninth session in Madrid on December 11-12. This marks the first time the Forum is held outside China, reflecting ISIF’s dedication to expanding global dialogue and cultivating a more inclusive and collaborative international order.
Under the theme “Collective Action for One Future”, ISIF 2024 will gather over 130 political figures, dignitaries, and experts from more than 40 nations. Attendees will include former heads of state and government, academics, and representatives from international organizations. The Forum will also feature officials from the Chinese and Spanish governments, with Madrid’s mayor participating as an institutional partner.
Discussions will focus on critical global issues, including peace and security, green technologies, artificial intelligence, and sustainable development. The Forum will also explore strategies for advancing multilateralism and development financing, promoting collaborative solutions in an increasingly polarized world.
“Choosing Madrid to host ISIF 2024 underscores the importance of fostering opportunities for constructive dialogue and partnership with key global players,” stated Danilo Türk, President of Club de Madrid. “In these challenging times, multilateralism and collaboration are crucial for tackling challenges affecting global communities.”
The 2024 event is anticipated to conclude with a series of recommendations outlining a shared vision for addressing global challenges, strengthening multilateral cooperation, and fostering collective solutions.
