CHICAGO and AUCKLAND, New Zealand, June 2, 2025 — Mérieux NutriSciences, a global leader in ensuring food safety, quality, and sustainability, and AsureQuality, the leading food assurance provider in New Zealand, are pleased to announce the official establishment of their joint venture, Mérieux NutriSciences AQ (MNAQ). The creation of MNAQ follows Mérieux NutriSciences’ successful acquisition of Bureau Veritas’ global food testing operations, including its interest in the BVAQ joint ventures located in Southeast Asia and Australia.

With the transaction officially completed in Southeast Asia in January 2025 and now finalized in Australia as of May 31st 2025, MNAQ is now fully operational and ready to become a prominent provider of food testing, assurance, and sustainability solutions in both regions.
