ORLANDO, Fla., Dec. 30, 2024 — Nexstar Media Group’s “Coast-to-Coast Countdown to 2025,” hosted by Nikki Novak, will feature a special live segment from the Miss America competition at the Loews Sapphire Falls Resort and Hotel in Orlando, Florida.

The “Coast-to-Coast Countdown to 2025” will air live on December 31, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. PT, across 69 Nexstar stations, reaching over 50 million households. Broadcast from Las Vegas, the special includes performances by The Jacksons, Foreigner, Sheila E., and others, with countdowns in all four U.S. time zones and a fireworks and drone show over the Las Vegas Strip.

The Miss America delegates’ segment will highlight the camaraderie and excitement of the competition, held for the first time on New Year’s Eve. Attendees and viewers will countdown to the new year, sharing messages of hope and joy on social media using #Coast2CoastNYE and #MissAmerica.

Miss America CEO Robin Fleming stated, “We are thrilled to begin the new year with a new era of Miss America and celebrate the next 100 years! This is a unique opportunity for our delegates to shine on a major New Year’s Eve broadcast.”

The Miss America and Miss America’s Teen competitions will be held January 4-5 at the Walt Disney Theatre in Orlando, FL.
