SALT LAKE CITY, Feb. 8, 2025 — Coinciding with the anniversary of the Salt Lake 2002 Winter Games Opening Ceremonies, over 15,000 people filled downtown Salt Lake City for the 2nd Annual Salt Lake Winter Roundup. Organized by Visit Salt Lake, in partnership with the Utah Days of ’47 Rodeo, this full-day event celebrated Salt Lake’s rich history in sports and culture through a diverse range of activities.

Key events at the 2025 Salt Lake Winter Roundup included:

  • Skijoring Demonstration: Attendees were captivated by Skijoring Utah’s exciting blend of rodeo and ski racing, providing high-octane entertainment in the heart of downtown Salt Lake.
  • Live Performances: Local musical acts, arts organizations, and cultural displays provided a vibrant and festive ambiance throughout the day.
  • Interactive Experiences: Participants enjoyed trick horse shows, engaging brand activities, and family-oriented events, adding a participatory aspect to the festivities.
