
QUEBEC CITY, March 17, 2025 – Société immobilière Bélanger (SIB) is announcing a strategic restructuring to strengthen its acquisition team through key leadership appointments. Following a $143 million transaction with Logisco, the company is furthering its expansion by reinforcing its acquisitions division and recruiting for management and maintenance roles.
Sébastien Dion, the newly named Vice President of Development and Acquisitions, will receive support from Regional Directors Evguenia Kapchii and Georges Tardif. François Lévesque is also joining the team as Strategic Advisor for Risk and Financing.
A DOMINANT ACQUISITION FORCE
Sébastien Dion – Vice President, Development and Acquisitions
With more than 10 years of real estate experience, Sébastien Dion has played a key role in expanding multi-residential and commercial projects in Quebec. After working for eight years with a major real estate owner, he joined SIB in 2021 as Director of Acquisitions. He is now responsible for leading acquisitions, market analysis, and due diligence, ensuring the smooth integration of new assets and energy-efficient portfolio management.
Evguenia Kapchii – Head of Acquisitions, Montreal
With over 10 years of experience in large multi-residential transactions, Evguenia Kapchii is a McGill University graduate with a background in psychology and marketing management. Before becoming Acquisitions Manager at InterRent REIT, she founded her own brokerage firm. Since 2020, she has directed SIB’s Montreal acquisitions, overseeing transactions totaling over $300 million.
Georges Tardif – Head of Acquisitions, Quebec City
Georges Tardif has spent five years at SIB building strong relationships with brokers and property owners throughout Quebec City. He specializes in acquisitions, negotiations, and market analysis, and consistently monitors real estate trends. His background in construction electricity offers technical insights for asset evaluation and acquisition strategy.
François Lévesque – Strategic Advisor, Risk and Financing
François Lévesque brings 35 years of experience at CMHC as an expert in risk management and real estate financing. As a Senior Underwriting Specialist, he contributed to the development of the APH Select program, which aims to preserve Canada’s rental housing stock. He also dedicated 18 years to social and affordable housing, helping to create sustainable financing strategies.
