LOS ANGELES, June 18, 2025 — Wayfinder Family Services’ state-certified non-public school recently honored its graduating class with a ceremony and reception.
This event marked a significant milestone for the graduates, some of whom had been enrolled at the school for over a decade. Each graduate, facing distinct challenges, received individualized education and support from Wayfinder’s. They are now transitioning into community and adult day programs.
Jay Allen, Wayfinder’s president and chief executive officer, conveyed his immense pride in the special education students who are graduating. “I am incredibly proud of our graduating class of special education students,” he stated. “Each year, we welcome students with significant special needs into our classrooms and observe them thrive, achieve their potential, and maximize their independence. I am inspired by their parents, caregivers, and families, and grateful for our dedicated teachers and staff.”
The school is situated on Wayfinder’s primary campus in Los Angeles. It serves students aged 5 to 22 with moderate-to-severe disabilities, encompassing various levels of medical, physical, and behavioral challenges. Students attend from different school districts and surrounding counties. Classrooms are specifically adapted to meet student needs, and Wayfinder’s six-acre campus features a gymnasium, a spacious cafeteria, expansive outdoor areas, and an adaptive playground.
Wayfinder’s Special Education School is currently accepting enrollment applications on a continuous basis. Families or educators who are interested can or contact the school at (323) 295-4555.
