JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia, Feb. 20, 2025 — TrinaTracker, a global leader in smart solar tracking solutions and a Trinasolar Co. Ltd (SHA: 688599) subsidiary, will open a new Saudi Arabian manufacturing facility in Q1 2025. This facility significantly advances the company’s localization efforts and improves regional distribution and service.
The plant, established through a land lease with the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON), is located in Jeddah’s 3rd Industrial City. It will produce 3GW annually of TrinaTracker’s Vanguard series solar trackers and smart control systems. This will be TrinaTracker’s fourth manufacturing site, joining facilities in China, Spain, and Brazil.
The Middle East’s expanding solar tracker market, driven by its vast area and high solar irradiance, is a key factor. TrinaTracker’s smart solution—combining Vanguard trackers, intelligent controls, and lifecycle services—is well-suited for the region’s conditions (sand, wind, high temperatures), boosting project returns.
Aligned with Trinasolar’s broader regional service strategy, the factory will enable faster delivery, enhanced technical support, and improved pre- and post-sales service. A dedicated team will offer training and on-site assistance, strengthening Trinasolar’s client commitment. This expands TrinaTracker’s global reach and regional presence.
TrinaTracker shipped 27GW of smart solar tracking systems globally by the end of Q4 2024 and will continue its localization strategy to offer superior intelligent solutions and local services worldwide.
