SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., May 23, 2025 — To commemorate Memorial Day, U.S. Money Reserve has collaborated with Mike Rowe, known for hosting Discovery Channel’s Dirty Jobs, to donate a set of 5 oz. silver coins from the company’s exclusive series to the U.S. Navy Memorial Foundation (USNMF).

The World War II: Valor & Victory Series showcases designs that honor significant World War II events. The four-coin set given to the USNMF includes coins representing the “Attack on Pearl Harbor,” “Battle of Midway,” “Battle of Normandy,” and “Battle of Iwo Jima.” These coins commemorate the service members who defended liberty with their bravery and influenced the course of history. The series will soon include a fifth coin dedicated to the “Battle of the Bulge,” further honoring these important moments of courage and sacrifice.

U.S. Money Reserve’s support for the U.S. Navy Memorial Foundation began in 2016 with the launch of the now sold-out Pearl Harbor 75th Anniversary coin series. The proceeds from that series helped fund the at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. In 2022, U.S. Money Reserve also became the official precious-metals IRA partner of the U.S. Navy Memorial, which was formalized during the Blessing of the Fleet on April 9th, 2022. At that event, coins from the first Gold and Silver Legacy Eagle series produced by U.S. Money Reserve were presented to the U.S. Navy Memorial.

“Memorial Day is a time for remembrance and gratitude,” stated Angela Roberts, CEO of U.S. Money Reserve. “We are proud to support the U.S. Navy Memorial Foundation’s mission and continue our dedication to recognizing the service and sacrifice of American veterans.”

Rowe’s presentation of U.S. Money Reserve’s donation is highlighted in a newly released video, emphasizing the importance of the U.S. Navy Memorial Foundation’s mission to honor, recognize, and celebrate the sacrifices of the men and women in the Sea Services – the U.S. Navy, Coast Guard, Marines, and Merchant Marines.

“I was honored to tour the USNM, the only memorial in DC I hadn’t visited, with the President and CEO. It was a privilege to present him with these remarkable five-ounce silver coins that commemorate key battles of World War II. I’m delighted to be associated with U.S. Money Reserve, a company that consistently honors our military personnel. It’s a wonderful way to celebrate Memorial Day.”

The video also features Mike Rowe touring the U.S. Navy Memorial in Washington, D.C., and exploring exhibits that highlight the courage and resilience of American sailors. The tour concludes with the presentation of a 2024 5 oz. Silver World War II: Valor & Victory Series Ultra High Relief Proof 4-Coin Set to Vice Admiral John Nowell, USN (Ret.), President & CEO of the U.S. Navy Memorial Foundation.

“The Navy Memorial appreciates the ongoing support from U.S. Money Reserve,” said foundation representatives. “This donation demonstrates their commitment and is a significant tribute to the Sea Services. Vice Admiral Nowell, USN (Ret.), proudly displays their beautifully crafted coins as a symbol of our shared dedication to preserving the legacy of the U.S. Navy.”
