Couple abducted and separated in Oct. 7 Hamas attack finally reunited after their ordeal as captives.

A pair abducted by Hamas from the Nova music festival on October 7, 2023, were brought back together on Monday, having been separated for over two years.

Avinatan Or was freed from detention after two years and reunited with his partner, Noa Argamani, who had also been held captive in Gaza. Social media footage depicted Or exiting a van and acknowledging well-wishers upon his liberation.

Additional videos showed him reconnecting with his parents.

“Noa Argamani and Avinatan Or are reunited at last,” an X post declared, accompanied by an image of Or kissing Argamani on the cheek.

Argamani, a 27-year-old Israeli student born in China, was liberated in June 2024 during an IDF operation after eight months in Hamas’s custody.

Video footage of Argamani’s abduction at the festival, where she was seen screaming while being transported on a motorcycle, rapidly circulated globally. Argamani’s mother, who was battling brain cancer when her daughter was kidnapped, worried she would not see her again.

Her mother passed away three weeks after Argamani’s rescue.

Following her release, Argamani advocated for the freedom of the remaining hostages.

“Being here today is a miracle, but I’m here to tell you we have no time,” Argamani stated to the U.N. Security Council in February. She recounted witnessing horrors, lacking medical care, and enduring severe conditions.

The return of the remaining hostages in Gaza on Monday followed the securing of a peace agreement with Hamas, concluding over two years of conflict between the militant group and Israel.

On Monday, he journeyed to Egypt, where he and several global leaders signed a historic Gaza peace initiative after a summit.

The president described it as a “tremendous day for the world” and a “tremendous day for the Middle East.”
