WASHINGTON, March 12, 2025 — The American Red Cross is using its annual Red Cross Month this March to recognize the crucial support of its donors. Corporate partners, among many others, are vital to the organization’s ability to provide aid during emergencies. Their contributions of essential resources ensure the Red Cross is prepared to respond to crises.

Humanitarian aid is increasingly necessary for families and communities. The Red Cross’s rapid response to the rising frequency and intensity of disasters such as wildfires, floods, and hurricanes is critical. Furthermore, severe weather events are disrupting blood drives, highlighting the continued importance of blood donations. These factors underscore the significance of consistent donor support, enabling the Red Cross to effectively use their contributions.

Their annual financial commitments allow the Red Cross to prepare for both routine and large-scale emergencies, ensuring the organization can quickly deliver vital assistance to those in need.
