MONTRÉAL, July 18, 2025 – The Honourable Nathalie Provost, Secretary of State (Nature) and Member of Parliament for Châteauguay—Les Jardins-de-Napierville, will attend the annual event at the Saint-Gabriel Lock (Lock No. 3) within the Lachine Canal National Historic Site. The public is invited to participate in this special opportunity to navigate the historic lock using non-motorized boats, free of charge.
This year, Parks Canada commemorates the Lachine Canal’s 200th anniversary, marking a significant milestone for this renowned waterway. There will be a chance for taking photos.
