ANAHEIM, Calif., July 11, 2025 — In response to the devastating floods in central Texas over the Fourth of July weekend, Centaurus Financial, Inc. has contributed $30,000 to organizations assisting those affected. The independent broker/dealer, based in Anaheim, California, has donated $10,000 to each of the following: Samaritan’s Purse, Austin Pets Alive, and the American Red Cross. The floods have resulted in at least 120 fatalities and over 170 missing persons. These organizations are working tirelessly to support the recovery of survivors.
Jerry Duhovic, Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer, and Chief Compliance Officer at Centaurus, stated that the company felt compelled to act in addition to offering thoughts and prayers, given the tragic loss of life in Texas. He added that, under the direction of CEO Ron King and the Executive Management Committee, Centaurus aimed to contribute to the solution by donating to organizations assisting both people and animals in coping with the immense suffering and devastation.
He further noted that while the contribution might seem insufficient in light of the magnitude of the event, the entire Centaurus Family extends its thoughts and prayers to those in Texas.
Samaritan’s Purse, a Christian organization based in Boone, North Carolina, offers spiritual and practical assistance to individuals worldwide.
