
Partnership marks a significant achievement that has supported housing stability for over 39,000 families
TEMPLE, Texas, Dec. 18, 2025 — Today, , a top national builder of affordable single-family homes, commemorates a key achievement: the contribution of its 20th home via its collaboration with , a national nonprofit focused on preventing and tackling family homelessness. This 20th donated home will function as transitional housing for , offering stability and assistance to families striving to obtain permanent housing.

Clayton and Family Promise initiated their collaboration in 2019 with the program A Future Begins at Home, which aims to stop families from becoming homeless. Clayton advances this mission by donating homes annually and providing grants to Family Promise Affiliates across the United States.

Since the partnership started, collaborative work has enabled 39,300 families, encompassing more than 62,500 children, to secure long-term housing stability.
The contributed home, Clayton’s , provides around 1,140 square feet of living area, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It features all-drywall interiors, Craftsman-style elements, and open living spaces, along with energy-efficient components and rooftop solar panels expected to generate over half of the home’s yearly electricity, potentially lowering monthly utility expenses. Fully furnished, the residence is prepared to accommodate diverse family requirements.
The home was constructed at the Clayton Waco Home Building Facility in Texas and finished by .
