RENO, Nev., Jan. 20, 2026 — Estuary Power completed all phases of its Escape Solar and Storage project in Lincoln County, Nevada in December 2025, achieving final wrap-up. The Escape facility now delivers 185 megawatts (“MW”) of solar power and 400 megawatt-hours (“MWh”) of battery storage capacity to four Nevada-based customers.

Following final completion, Escape started supplying 115 MW of solar energy and 400 MWh of battery storage to MGM Resorts International (“MGM”) under a 25-year contract. This combined solar and battery project provides MGM with renewable energy during peak demand hours and supports the company’s sustainability goals. Earlier, in June 2025, Escape began delivering a total of 70 MW of solar power to Overton Power District No.5, Caesars Entertainment, and Wynn Las Vegas via long-term power purchase agreements.

“Estuary takes pride in serving some of Nevada’s most prominent commercial and public-power clients with cost-effective, reliable renewable energy,” stated Jill Daniel, CEO of Estuary Power. “The Escape Project—an unusually complex initiative finished ahead of an already fast-tracked schedule—highlights our ability to develop, finance, and deploy large-scale energy infrastructure through creativity, agility, and disciplined execution. We are thankful for our customers’ trust and the support from our partners and local community that made this project a success.”

“With this new project going live, we’re accelerating progress toward our 2030 goal of using 100% renewable electricity for domestic operations,” noted Bill Hornbuckle, CEO and President of MGM. “Alongside our Mega Solar Array, the Escape Solar and Storage Project reflects our focus on scalable, impactful clean-energy solutions. It also shows that our industry can operate more sustainably while ensuring long-term cost stability, strengthening our business and contributing to a more resilient energy future.”

In late 2025, Escape also finalized its last round of funding, which included a tax equity investment from Morgan Stanley Renewables Inc. as per their commitment, and converted its long-term construction loan to a term loan provided by Denham Capital on behalf of its clients. Escape’s permanent capital structure additionally features a letter of credit facility from Norddeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale (Nord/LB).

Bechtel Infrastructure and Power Corporation constructed Escape’s solar arrays. Tesla, Inc. supplied and installed the battery energy storage system. Dashiell Corporation handled the substation and specific transmission upgrades, while JinkoSolar provided TOPCon photovoltaic modules.

Headquartered in Reno, Nevada, Estuary Power develops, owns, and operates large-scale energy generation, storage, and transmission projects across the western United States. The company is financially backed by the Ullico Infrastructure Fund (“UIF”), a $6.3 billion infrastructure fund. For more information about Estuary Power, please visit or follow Estuary Power on .
