SHANGHAI, Nov. 25, 2025 — W. L. Gore & Associates today announced the inauguration of its Battery Lab in Shanghai, China, enhancing its global research and development capabilities to accelerate the creation of advanced battery materials for clients worldwide. The lab is dedicated to the development, characterization, and stringent testing of crucial materials for battery cells and packs—covering membranes, venting solutions, moisture and condensation management, explosion and thermal runaway mitigation, pressure equalization, and controlled gas release.
