BEIJING, July 25, 2025 — The Hubei Humanoid Robotics Industry Chain Matchmaking Conference took place on July 25, 2025, in Beijing, as part of the 3rd (CISCE). The event’s theme was Synergizing Cutting-Edge Innovations, Empowering New Quality Productive Forces.

More than 400 attendees, comprising ambassadors, specialists, industry executives, and financial leaders, gathered for the event. It featured speeches, project presentations, and partnership agreements, underscoring Hubei’s capabilities in humanoid robotics and promoting worldwide industry cooperation.

Yu Jianlong, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), emphasized Hubei’s advantageous geographic position, abundant scientific and technological resources, robust innovation environment, and commitment to openness. He pointed out the province’s swift advancements in humanoid robotics, encompassing intelligent manufacturing, core component research and development, diverse application areas, and comprehensive ecosystem growth.

Yu mentioned that at this year’s CISCE, Hubei unveiled a dedicated humanoid robotics exhibition zone, where 22 companies displayed more than 80 items, including 20 fully integrated humanoid robots, illustrating the province’s extensive robotics industry ecosystem.

He affirmed that CCPIT plans to strengthen its service infrastructure and international alliances, assisting Hubei in developing platforms for global collaboration and solidifying its humanoid robotics sector as a prominent brand.

Hu Zhonghai, Director of CCPIT Hubei, identified humanoid robotics as a crucial catalyst for technological innovation and industrial advancement. He highlighted Hubei’s benefits in terms of geography, industry, and policy, noting the presence of 325 Fortune Global 500 companies, and detailed the province’s robotics development plan with targets set for one, three, and five years.

Zhao Xingwei, JCBot’s legal representative and a professor at HUST, stated that JCBot has successfully commercialized its technologies, supported by HUST academicians. Its offerings are utilized in more than 10 sectors, such as industrial manufacturing, tourism, firefighting, and logistics. He committed to intensifying R&D efforts to develop more advanced applications and facilitate industrial improvements.

During the product unveiling, Lou Kaiqi, Deputy General Manager of Hubei Optics Valley Dongzhi Embodied Intelligence Technology Co. Ltd., presented the company’s latest humanoid robot. This robot is currently employed in capacities such as exhibition guiding, retail, reception, and entertainment, with plans to extend its applications to government services, industrial tasks, elder care, among others.

During the matchmaking event, the Hubei Humanoid Robotics Industry Alliance entered into strategic agreements with three collaborators: the Zhejiang Robot Industry Association, the Humanoid Robotics Innovation Center, and the Zhongguancun Rongzhi Specialized Robotics Alliance. This partnership will concentrate on research and development, market growth, and personnel exchange, with the goal of fostering a more robust robotics ecosystem by pooling resources and leveraging mutual advantages.
