“Magic Squad” is a hybrid Web3 game that merges role-playing game (RPG) progression with roguelike mechanics. Developed by NEOSTELLAGAMES, the title was integrated into LINE NEXT’s Mini Dapp ecosystem through a partnership with METABORA GAMES.
Players can access “Magic Squad” directly via LINE NEXT’s Dapp Portal without needing to install a separate application, and can buy in-app items using BORA Tokens.
METABORA GAMES has incorporated the Quest feature of BORA DEEPS with the launch of “Magic Squad.” BORA DEEPS is an infrastructure service that links in-game missions with a BORA-based Web3 reward system to enhance interaction between gamers and BORA projects. The Quest feature was first introduced in October and successfully integrated into “Puzzle & Guardians.”
“Magic Squad” also utilizes an in-game payment module that enables players to buy items with BORA Tokens. Additionally, a Gas Abstraction feature has been introduced via the Kaia wallet, allowing users to pay gas fees with BORA Tokens even if they do not hold Kaia Tokens. METABORA GAMES intends to extend this feature to more wallets in the future.
