DALLAS, March 11, 2026 — NexPoint Residential Trust, Inc. (NYSE: NXRT) (“NXRT”) disclosed today that the record date to identify stockholders eligible to vote at the 2026 Annual Meeting of Stockholders (the “Annual Meeting”) will be Tuesday, March 31, 2026. The Annual Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 2, 2026, starting at 10:00 a.m. Central Time. The event will be conducted solely via a virtual platform. Stockholders cannot attend the Annual Meeting in person; however, stockholders of record as of the close of business on March 31, 2026, will be able to cast votes and pose questions during the meeting through the online platform.

Additional details about the Annual Meeting, including guidance on accessing the meeting, will be included in the proxy statement and other related proxy materials for the event (collectively, the “Proxy Materials”). Attendance at the Annual Meeting will be restricted to stockholders of record and beneficial owners who submit proof of beneficial ownership as of the record date, following the method outlined in the Proxy Materials.
