Young racer builds on strong 2025 season following USPKS checkered flag, podium finishes in Europe, U.S.
DALLAS, Jan. 17, 2026 — Following a remarkable 2025 campaign that featured checkered flags and podium results on tracks in Europe and the United States, emerging karting prodigy Liam Nachawati is set to embark on 2026 with faster equipment, new teams, and an ambitious international schedule.
At 11 years old, Nachawati will compete in the OKJ category in Europe with Ricky Flynn Motorsport, stepping up to more potent karts as he continues to ascend the international karting hierarchy. In the United States, he has advanced to the X30 Junior class and will race with Rolison Performance Group, a highly regarded team on the U.S. karting circuit.
“I’m thrilled to be progressing to X30 Junior and OKJ,” Nachawati states. “The karts are comparable in size, yet they’re far more powerful and responsive. This places an even greater importance on preparation, concentration, and skill.”
Nachawati concluded the 2025 racing season with an impressive series of results. In August 2025, he secured a victory at the U.S. Pro Kart Series (USPKS) at New Castle Motor Sports Park in the miniswift category after claiming pole position. He also notched a third-place finish at the SuperKarts! USA (SKUSA) SummerNats at New Castle in July.
With 2026 already in motion, Liam took part in his initial X30 Junior race, which included competitors aged 12 to 15, at the SKUSA Winter Tour Rounds 1 and 2 in January. As the second youngest driver, he qualified fifth and finished seventh in the Round 1 final, and ended Round 2 final in sixth place among 33 drivers — remarkable performances for a promising young driver.
The two teams joining Nachawati in 2026 are widely acknowledged for nurturing elite young talent and preparing drivers for the next stages in professional motorsports. England-based Ricky Flynn Motorsport has established a reputation across Europe for producing top-level drivers, including current Formula One star Lando Norris. Rolison Performance Group is renowned for fielding championship-caliber drivers in major U.S. karting series.
Facing a rigorous transatlantic schedule and an increase in competition, Nachawati enters 2026 laser-focused on ongoing development within one of motorsports’ most competitive talent pathways.
