SALINAS, Calif., March 24, 2026 — Taylor Farms has announced that it has acquired Equinox Growers, a cutting-edge leafy greens greenhouse in Louisa, Virginia, from Generate Capital. As the world’s leading global producer of salads and wholesome fresh foods, this strategic move aligns with Taylor Farms’ commitment to delivering a consistent supply of the freshest, highest-quality produce to consumers.

This facility stands as the largest commercial greenhouse in the Mid-Atlantic region, and it features state-of-the-art technology used to grow a wide range of high-quality leafy greens. This controlled-environment agriculture (CEA) site will be managed by the Equinox Growers team while being fully integrated into Taylor Farms’ product portfolio and cold-chain logistics network. The scale of Equinox Growers combined with Taylor Farms’ distribution network will enhance freshness and make locally grown greens more accessible to consumers across the Eastern U.S.
