PAYNESVILLE, Minn., March 21, 2026, — Effective Saturday, March 21 at 10a.m., members of Teamsters Local 471 initiated a strike at Associated Milk Producers Inc. Dairy (AMPI).
AMPI operates as a cooperative, processing and distributing cheese and various other dairy products nationwide. Despite nearly a year of negotiations, the company’s management has consistently failed to present a contract that adequately addresses concerns regarding wages, health care, and job security.
