The Association verified that the Expo is now scheduled for 12 to 15 April 2027, emphasizing that the safety and welfare of its members, exhibitors, attendees, partners, and all involved parties are its paramount concern.

This decision originated from a meeting convened by the IAAPA Board of Directors on 10 March 2026, subsequent to a thorough evaluation of the developing circumstances throughout the region. The outcome stemmed from comprehensive discussions with essential stakeholders, such as the IAAPA EMEA Regional Advisory Board, the IAAPA EMEA Manufacturers & Suppliers Committee, advice from the MENALAC Board of Directors, alongside exhibitors, presenters, and local members.

Jakob Wahl, IAAPA’s President and Chief Executive Officer, stressed that this choice was not made without significant consideration, remarking: “At IAAPA, we profoundly appreciate the time and resources our members and partners have committed, along with their efforts in getting ready for the first IAAPA Expo Middle East. While we genuinely value their ongoing backing, we equally count on their comprehension that the well-being and paramount interests of our worldwide community take precedence, a duty that informed this challenging decision.”

IAAPA verified that it will directly contact exhibitors, sponsors, speakers, and registered participants to offer information on subsequent actions, concurrently reiterating its dedication to assisting the attractions industry throughout the region.

The Association anticipates reuniting industry leaders and professionals at IAAPA Expo Middle East next year, thereby reinforcing its position as a premier international forum for innovation and cooperation within the attractions sector.
