BEIJING, July 23, 2025 — In recent years, Taiyuan Iron and Steel (Group), or TISCO, a division of China Baowu Steel Group Corporation, has prioritized environmentally friendly and low-carbon growth as a central element of its long-term viability strategy. The company has actively pursued carbon emission reductions, enhanced environmental management, and embedded eco-conscious principles into its corporate framework.

To date, TISCO has lowered the carbon footprint of its products by more than 60 percent, released 11 Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), and achieved a green logistics coverage rate exceeding 80 percent. Environmentally sound practices have been integrated across the entire production process, supporting the company’s progression towards a more sustainable future.
