Reports indicate that beauty influencer Stefanie Pieper’s body was discovered inside a suitcase in a Slovenian forest, following an alleged confession from her former boyfriend, leading to her being found deceased.

The 31-year-old Austrian influencer, recognized for her makeup, fashion, and singing content across social media platforms, after her return home from a Christmas party last Sunday, Nov. 23, according to information from the Styrian State Police.

Pieper’s former boyfriend reportedly confessed to strangling her, concealing her body in a suitcase, and burying it within the forest. He subsequently guided authorities to the location of her body, as reported by , a prominent Austrian newspaper.

After the Christmas party, Pieper reportedly messaged a friend indicating her safe arrival home, but then quickly sent a subsequent message expressing concern that someone might be in her stairwell. Her neighbors also claimed to have heard an argument and reportedly observed Pieper’s former boyfriend in the building, according to reports from , which cited local outlets and .

Police stated that when relatives and coworkers could not contact Pieper, and she did not appear for work, they filed a missing person report.

The 31-year-old former boyfriend of the influencer was later apprehended in Slovenia, discovered near his vehicle which was on fire, with investigators indicating that they had been unable to establish contact with him.

“It is believed the man traveled to Slovenia multiple times in his car. He was unreachable by the ,” the Styrian State Police stated. “On Monday evening, November 24, 2025, Slovenian police reported a car fire in a casino parking lot near the border. This vehicle belonged to the 31-year-old man.”

Pieper’s former boyfriend was extradited to and, during interrogation, reportedly consented to cooperate with authorities, as per Kronen Zeitung.

The Styrian State Police confirmed the arrest of two male relatives of the suspect in connection with the investigation.
