The track was co-created with Souldrippin, an Amsterdam-based hip-hop and soul collective founded by Hari Loco and Darius Dante, and explores themes of fame, identity, and the enduring pull of returning home.

Hari Loco, born Haris Trnjanin, fled Bosnia with his family as a young child during the war and grew up in the Netherlands—where hip-hop became both his voice and life’s compass. Using rap and creativity to guide young people away from street violence, he gradually built a name for himself in the international hip-hop scene, later traveling the world as a tour manager for artists including Quavo, French Montana, 6ix9ine, and Jason Derulo. One of those artists was a then-young NLE Choppa, long before the Memphis rapper became a leading figure in modern hip-hop.

Over the years, Haris accompanied NLE every step of the way during his explosive rise to stardom, forging a genuine friendship that extended far beyond music. Despite sold-out shows, endless travel, and global success, one constant remained: NLE always returned to his roots in Memphis, while Haris went back to Amsterdam. This emotional contrast became the foundation of “Coming Home.”

Darius Dante is the musical alter ego of Darre van Dijk, an internationally recognized, award-winning creative leader in advertising and current Chief Creative Officer of TBWANEBOKO. Long before Souldrippin officially existed, Haris and Darre were connected through the Dutch hip-hop scene, making music together while building entirely different careers and life paths. One arrived in the Netherlands as a refugee and became deeply rooted in hip-hop culture; the other built a global career in creativity and storytelling. Together, they created Souldrippin as a space where soul, hip-hop, and real-life stories converge without compromise.
