SoundStack offers broadcasters, podcasters, and other publishers a complete suite of technology and services for audio delivery and analytics. AP’s audio service will benefit from the all-in-one platform through:

  • More consistent and reliable streaming, resulting in improved listening experiences, thanks to SoundStack’s global content delivery network (CDN) comprised of 12 data centers.
  • Improved operational efficiency and greater control over business operations using cloud automation. This includes the ability to automatically import and schedule content, similar to traditional radio stations.
  • Simplified content adaptation with the ability to capture AP’s on-demand content and automatically convert it into streams using SoundStack Splice.
  • Reduced costs through automation and streamlined streaming processes.

“At AP Radio, we are committed to delivering breaking news in an accessible and trustworthy manner for listeners worldwide,” stated Ron Vample, Executive Producer at AP. “Our collaboration with SoundStack allows us to enhance the listening experience and broaden our reach across digital platforms, ensuring timely and accurate information reaches a wider audience, regardless of their location.”

“We are honored that an organization as reputable as the AP has entrusted us with such a crucial function – the reliable delivery of factual news to listeners everywhere,” stated Jon Stephenson, CEO of SoundStack. “Many factors can impede the distribution of essential information. The mechanics of that distribution – from preventing outages to minimizing latency and maintaining revenue streams – should never be one of those factors.”
