In this position, Mr. Porreca will oversee global quality assurance, quality systems, and regulatory affairs across all of Avantor’s business units.

Mr. Porreca is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in quality, regulatory affairs, and compliance within the life sciences, medical technology, and healthcare sectors. He joins Avantor from Getinge, where he led the Quality and Regulatory function, driving global product approvals, navigating complex regulatory environments, and spearheading transformation efforts across the U.S., EU MDR, and China. Before his tenure at Getinge, he held senior leadership roles at Becton Dickinson and Company, C.R. Bard, Inc., and Smith+Nephew plc.
