ARLINGTON, Va., January 3, 2025 — Boeing [NYSE: BA] announced that Dana Deasy will be the company’s new chief information digital officer and senior vice president of Information Technology & Data Analytics.
Assuming the position on December 31, 2024, Deasy will be responsible for all aspects of information technology, information security, and data and analytics. He will report to Boeing President and CEO Kelly Ortberg and will be a member of the company’s Executive Council.
Ortberg stated, “Dana is a highly regarded, global technology leader with a proven ability to deliver innovative technologies in large, complex organizations.” He added, “Given the importance of cybersecurity and the growing role of emerging technologies like artificial intelligence, our IT team will play a crucial role in achieving our safety and quality objectives, consistently meeting customer needs, and preparing for the future.”
Deasy brings over 40 years of technology and leadership experience across various industries to Boeing. Most recently, he served as chief information officer at the U.S. Department of Defense and previously held similar roles at JPMorganChase, BP, and General Motors. His career began in information management at Rockwell’s Space Systems Division.
Deasy succeeds Susan Doniz, who departed the company late last year.
