In the Tuesday, April 14th draw, LOTTO MAX participants have a chance to win a life-altering $25 million jackpot, along with 25 new MAXPLUS prizes valued at $100,000 each!

Larger Jackpots – Up to $90 million:

Responding to player demand for larger jackpots, the LOTTO MAX jackpot ceiling is being raised from $80 million to $90 million – a new Canadian lottery record! The opportunity to win MAXMILLIONS prizes will continue when the jackpot is at or above $50 million.

New $100,000 MAXPLUS Prizes in Every Draw:

A key new feature is the addition of new $100,000 prizes in every draw, with the quantity tied to the jackpot size. For instance, a $10 million jackpot will include 10 extra $100,000 prizes. With a $20 million jackpot, 20 additional $100,000 prizes will be available – increasing up to 90 extra $100,000 prizes when the jackpot reaches $90 million.

Enhanced Overall Odds of Winning a Prize:

These updates result in the best-ever overall odds of winning any LOTTO MAX prize. The chance of winning any prize improves from about 1 in 7 to approximately 1 in 5.8, whereas the odds for the main Jackpot will adjust from about 1 in 33,294,800 per play to 1 in 33,446,140 per play.

A $6 play will now consist of four selections of seven numbers from 1 to 52. This represents one additional selection compared to the previous format.

To facilitate these improvements, the cost of a LOTTO MAX play will increase from $5 to $6. This modest adjustment enables the continuation of record-breaking jackpots, now up to $90 million, and the introduction of new $100,000 prizes in every draw of this popular Canadian lottery game. This marks the first price change in 17 years, since the game launched in 2009.
