Vancouver, BC – March 25, 2026 – Critical Infrastructure Technologies Ltd. (CSE:CTTT) (OTC:CITLF) (FRA: X9V) (“CiTech”), a firm specializing in autonomous, high-capacity mobile security and communications solutions, has entered into a joint venture (JV) agreement with Juno Industries (“Juno”). The partnership aims to co-develop and bring to market an Arctic-ready iteration of the company’s Nexus platform, to be known as the “Polar Nexus.”
The JV, held in equal partnership by CiTech and Juno, will prioritize the refinement of the Polar Nexus for deployment and testing in extreme Arctic environments. Additionally, the entity will work to secure commercial and defense-sector clients across North America.
Under the terms of the deal, CiTech will supply a Nexus platform unit and provide the necessary engineering expertise to modify the system for Arctic conditions, while Juno will contribute $450,000 in funding. Both parties will cooperate to generate new intellectual property related to sensor integration, Arctic operational readiness, and scalable deployment.
The Polar Nexus is engineered to support monitoring, communications, and operational needs in remote regions, addressing the rising demand for Arctic defense and infrastructure as strategic interest in the north intensifies (1).
Brenton Scott, CEO of Critical Infrastructure Technologies, stated:
“This collaboration with Juno Industries marks a significant milestone in extending the reach of the Nexus platform into remote and Arctic environments. By merging CiTech’s technology with Juno’s North American expertise and focus on Arctic threat detection, the Polar Nexus is well-positioned to serve both industrial and defense markets.”
Hunter Scharfe, CEO of Juno Industries, added:
“We are pleased to partner with the talented team at CiTech to develop and deploy the Polar Nexus. Juno Industries recognizes the increasing importance of the Arctic in global defense, and we believe platforms like the Polar Nexus will provide significant value. Furthermore, we believe this JV is uniquely suited for success in Canada, given Juno’s deep understanding of the critical requirements of the Canadian Armed Forces and their allies.”
