Teamsters Advocate for a Unified National Standard for 2,000 Employees
ENGLEWOOD, Colo., April 23, 2025 — Teamsters Local 455 members working at Meadow Gold Dairy, a Dairy Farmers of America (DFA) subsidiary, will conduct a practice picket at the company’s Englewood facility on Thursday, April 24. This plant is a major milk supplier for Denver-area public schools.
The Englewood dairy Teamsters are participating in a national day of action. DFA is currently in negotiations with the union for 19 collective bargaining agreements, representing 2,000 employees within the largest dairy co-op in North America. The union is seeking better pay, enhanced health and retirement benefits, and standardized contract expiration dates.
