STOCKHOLM, May 9, 2025 — The Board of Directors at Essity has chosen Ulrika Kolsrud to be the next President and CEO, effective June 1, 2025. She is currently the President of Essity’s Health & Medical business unit. This appointment follows Magnus Groth‘s earlier announcement to the Board that he would be stepping down from his role this year.

Ulrika Kolsrud, 54, holds a Master of Science in Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology. She will be based at Essity’s headquarters in Stockholm.
