ABU DHABI, UAE, Dec. 7, 2024 — This week’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix offers attendees an unprecedented selection of restaurants, food stalls, and beverage options at the Yas Marina Circuit for refreshment and refueling throughout the race weekend.
Over 100 food and beverage vendors will serve fans during the record-breaking F1 season finale on Yas Island, including new dining experiences. COYA Abu Dhabi debuts, offering premium Peruvian cuisine at Garden on Yas – a new hospitality addition located in the Palm Garden at W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island.
Curating hospitality brands for this four-day event is demanding, a task expertly handled by Adam Millward, Ethara’s Hospitality Director, who oversees the event’s hospitality portfolio.
He anticipates an enhanced visitor experience this weekend.
“Our hospitality offerings cater to a global clientele of luxury seekers, motorsport enthusiasts, and VIPs – some prioritizing the Formula 1 excitement, others focusing on brunch and race weekend festivities,” explained Millward, who has cultivated strong relationships with partner restaurants, crafting bespoke guest experiences annually.
“Our selection process prioritizes restaurants complementing the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix’s commitment to world-class food, beverage, and entertainment throughout the four-day event.
“These partnerships perfectly represent the Yas Marina Circuit and the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix: exceptional entertainment and dining, ensuring guest satisfaction.”
Meeting high guest expectations requires understanding visitor needs from arrival to departure.
He stated: “It’s about understanding customer desires and the hospitality industry’s evolution over the past three years. Hospitality encompasses more than just F&B; it’s the complete experience, from fine dining to arrival logistics, beverage service, and engagement with on-track action.”
With a globally diverse audience, the cuisine selection prioritizes quality and standards.
He noted: “Our race weekend attracts a highly diverse international audience; last year, over 65% of attendees were international. Therefore, restaurants must offer menus appealing to a wide range of palates and hospitality pass holders.
“This involves comprehensive menu tastings and evaluation of the complete dining experience; from restaurant ambiance and lighting to beverage choices and entertainment in each suite, ensuring optimal atmosphere.
“Whether enjoying Japanese cuisine, the best pasta in town from Ill Boro, or the lively atmosphere of OPA, we aim to provide something for everyone.
“We consistently strive to elevate the Grand Prix weekend experience by incorporating world-class dining and entertainment.”
