BEIJING, Sept. 20, 2024 — A group of over ten foreign media professionals, including executives and journalists from countries like Spain, Romania, Kazakhstan, and Vietnam, visited Xifeng Group, a renowned Chinese Baijiu producer located in Baoji City, northwest China‘s Shaanxi Province, on September 11.

The foreign media representatives began their tour at Xifeng Group’s production facility, observing the distinctive brewing process of Xifeng Liquor.

Impressed by the intelligent and semi-intelligent workshop where workers collaborate with industrial robots to manufacture liquor, Yasiru Bandara Ranaraja, founder and director of Belt & Road Initiative Sri Lanka, remarked that the robots significantly enhance liquor production efficiency by reducing bottling time from 40 minutes to 25 minutes. This allows the production line to achieve an annual output of 100,000 tons.

During a visit to the distiller’s yeast comprehensive building, foreign media representatives were shown the traditional method of crafting distiller’s yeast.

The foreign media team also toured the cultural hall of Xifeng Group, where they learned about the history of Xifeng Liquor, one of the four famous Chinese liquors with roots dating back to the Shang Dynasty.

Having experienced the unique appeal of Chinese Baijiu culture represented by Xifeng Liquor, foreign media representatives expressed hope that Xifeng Liquor would continue to act as a vital bridge connecting China and the world in the future.
