
AKRON, Ohio, Jan. 15, 2026 — The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company (NASDAQ: GT) has announced the appointment of David Cichocki as Managing Director, Americas and Chief Sales Officer, Americas Consumer. He will begin his role on January 19, reporting directly to CEO and President Mark Stewart.
In his capacity as Chief Sales Officer for the Americas Consumer business, Cichocki will be responsible for leading the unit with a focus on enhancing sales execution, speeding up profitable growth, and supporting Goodyear’s worldwide goals. His additional role as Managing Director, Americas will involve overseeing critical aspects of regional governance. He will collaborate with other senior executives to ensure alignment with the company’s global strategy and to promote operational excellence and strong financial results throughout the Americas region.

Cichocki possesses over three decades of commercial leadership expertise in both industrial and consumer goods sectors, having worked with several globally recognized brands. He joins Goodyear from Whirlpool Corporation, where he most recently held the position of senior vice president of U.S. Sales, managing a North American consumer business valued at over $10 billion across retail, builder/contract, and direct-to-consumer channels. Previously, he held numerous senior leadership positions during a career spanning more than 20 years with Kraft Foods/Nabisco.
