The Swiss pioneer in electric aviation gains global recognition for its sustainable innovations and embarks on a U.S. tour to showcase its environmentally friendly flight technology.

SION, Switzerland, May 1, 2025 – H55, a frontrunner in electric aviation and a technology offshoot from the Solar Impulse project, has been named to TIME’s list of top green technology companies. H55 was chosen from over 8,000 companies worldwide and is one of only four Swiss companies to be recognized, which highlights the company’s strengths and accomplishments in the field of clean air travel.

H55 earned this distinction through its advancements in certified electric propulsion and intelligent battery management systems, which are crucial for enabling quiet, zero-emission flights. TIME’s evaluation considered environmental impact, financial stability, and innovative capacity. H55’s presence on this international list highlights its achievements in making aviation cleaner and more efficient.

H55 Across USA Tour: Bringing Electric Aviation to the Entire U.S. – H55 will conduct flight demonstrations throughout the United States from April to August 2025 as part of its tour, giving aviation professionals and enthusiasts across the country a chance to experience fully electric flight. The tour will include visits to flight schools, aviation universities, aircraft manufacturers, military academies, and major airshows, providing participants with a first-hand look at the future of sustainable aviation.

At each location, H55 will present the Bristell B23 Energic, a two-seat, zero-emission training aircraft that uses H55’s award-winning electric propulsion system. This all-electric aircraft features nearly silent operation and significantly reduced operating costs, which demonstrates its practical applicability for pilot training and general aviation.
