JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia, Dec. 1, 2025 — Hankook Tire & Technology (referred to as Hankook), a prominent global tire manufacturer within Hankook & Company Group, successfully concluded the 2025 FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) by participating in Rally Saudi Arabia. This pivotal season finale took place in Jeddah on the 29th, with Hankook providing exclusive rally-tire support throughout the decisive event that marked the end of the 2025 season.

Rally Saudi Arabia traversed a challenging combination of expansive desert areas and harsh rocky landscapes. Amid daytime temperatures approaching 40°C, drivers encountered both soft sand stretches and abrasive gravel roads, making tire heat endurance and wear characteristics crucial for achieving strong competitive outcomes. Significant temperature shifts, airborne sand, and fluctuating localized weather further complicated conditions, but Hankook’s tires ensured consistent, reliable performance throughout the event.

In this concluding event of the season, Hankook provided its Dynapro R213, an extreme all-terrain rally tire, which again showcased its advanced technological prowess amidst rapidly varying stage conditions. Equipped with a robust casing and a meticulously designed tread pattern, the tire offered confident grip and responsive steering at high velocities, simultaneously ensuring stable handling as the track surfaces changed throughout the stages.

The Dynapro R213 effectively absorbed severe impacts common on unpaved rally courses, assisting drivers in maintaining their rhythm and stability during extended competitive segments. Its proven performance further solidified Hankook’s standing as a leading global manufacturer of motorsport tires.

Thierry Neuville from the Hyundai Shell Mobis World Rally Team emerged victorious at Rally Saudi Arabia, which marked the season’s conclusion. Throughout the 2025 WRC season, Sébastien Ogier and the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing World Rally Team clinched the Drivers’ and Manufacturers’ Championship titles, with Ogier narrowly beating his teammate Elfyn Evans by a mere four points. This accomplishment places Ogier in a tie for the all-time record of nine WRC championship wins, sharing it with Sébastien Loeb.

During its inaugural year as the WRC’s sole tire supplier across all primary championship classes in 16 nations, Hankook consistently supported the championship through steadfast operations and demonstrated tire efficacy, thereby reconfirming the company’s technological proficiency on a global platform. Leveraging this success, Hankook has deepened its engagement in the championship by providing dependable rally-tire performance in extremely volatile conditions, solidifying its reputation as a leading global brand and gaining the trust of motorsport enthusiasts globally.

Anticipating the 2026 season, Hankook plans to maintain its championship support with technology proven resilient in challenging rally settings. The 2026 FIA World Rally Championship is scheduled to commence in Monaco next January with Rallye Monte-Carlo, followed by subsequent events hosted in key countries over the course of the year.
