BEL AIR, Md., May 30, 2025 — Harford Mutual Insurance Group (HMIG) has announced alterations to its Board of Directors. These adjustments, endorsed during the Policyholders’ Annual Meeting, took effect on May 21, 2025.

John J. DeMartini, Sean M. Garber, and Teresa Q. McTague secured reelection to the board. DeMartini and Garber initially joined the board in 2023, while McTague became a director in 2021.

Theodore M. Alexander III was elected as a new board member. Alexander brings nearly four decades of experience as an investor and entrepreneur. He currently serves as the Head of Global Integrated Equity at T. Rowe Price.

Harford Mutual also acknowledged and celebrated the contributions of four retiring board members: Atwood Collins III, Albert J. Mezzanotte Jr., Spencer M. Roman, and Stephen T. Scott (Board Chair from 2013 to 2019). Their collective 80 years of dedication to Harford Mutual have significantly influenced the company’s advancement and achievements.
