Horizon Petroleum has initiated civil works at the Lachowice 7 wellsite in Poland. This marks a crucial step as they gear up for the arrival of a workover rig in July. The reactivation of this well is key for the Lachowice gas development.
Subject to a successful workover, gas and electricity sales from Lachowice 7 could provide the company’s first cash flow. Production data will also refine the wellbore design and optimize the field plan. Horizon aims for initial sales and cash flow by mid-2027.
Calgary-based Horizon focuses on European energy resources. With two concessions in Poland, they’re set to develop the Lachowice gas field. Their team has significant international experience. This move could reshape the local energy market.
