Utility-scale storage buyers are sick of chasing capacity-only deals. They want reliable, efficient systems that deliver long-term returns, not just low upfront costs. Smaller residential and DIY users face even bigger headaches. They struggle to match compatible inverters, batteries and management tools. No single vendor previously offered a one-stop solution for every use case, from balconies to grid-scale projects.

Hoymiles showed its full solar and storage line at Shanghai’s SNEC 2026 on June 5. The star debut was the HoyPrime AC 6.261MWh AC Container for utility use. It comes pre-assembled at the factory, cutting on-site installation and commissioning time. The portfolio covers every use case: HiBattery 4020 X for DIY balcony solar, HiOne All-in-One BESS for residential users, two HoyUltra lines for C&I sites, plus 1725kW grid-forming PCS and HINV350HX-G2 string inverter for utility solar projects. The firm also received multiple international safety and compliance certifications at the show, and announced new cross-market strategic partnerships.
Hoymiles has expanded beyond its core power electronics specialty to end-to-end solutions. It can now serve every customer segment, from casual DIY users to billion-dollar utility projects. Single-segment solar-storage vendors will lose significant market share over the next 18 months. Project developers and resellers should lock in supply contracts with Hoymiles immediately to avoid 2027 delivery delays.
