Shawn Zhao, President of the Campus Network Domain, Huawei’s Data Communication Product Line, stated, “With the growing prevalence of video conferencing, AI terminals, and AI applications, campus network access density has tripled, and the demand for bandwidth has increased tenfold. This shift has placed new requirements on the assurance of AI applications and audio/video services, while users also expect more intelligent O&M.”

To address these evolving demands, Huawei launched its upgraded Xinghe Intelligent Campus Solution. Notably, this solution enhances wireless experience in performance, roaming, and IoT convergence. It also leverages the X-Scheduler (an experience scheduling engine) to elevate application experience, and utilizes AI-assisted decision-making and a tidal prediction algorithm to improve O&M experience. These advancements enable customers to build industry-leading digital infrastructure and facilitate the digital and intelligent transformation of enterprises.

Furthermore, the solution offers end-to-end security assurance. On the wireless front, the innovative Wi-Fi Shield technology effectively prevents packet eavesdropping on the air interface. On the wired side, the full-link MACsec capabilities, extending from switches to APs, guarantee secure campus network data transmission from the outset.

The session also featured insightful presentations from leading analyst firms, customers, and partners across various industries, sharing their unique perspectives, best practices, and success stories. Key speakers included Sian Morgan, Research Director of Dell’Oro Group; Dr. Haitham S. Hamsa, Professor of Information Technology, Cairo University; Shang Qun, Assistant to the Director of the Computing Center, Peking University; Sun Pan, Director of Infrastructure Operations Dept, System Digitalization Dept, FAW Group; Connee Zhang, CEO of CypressTel. Their valuable experiences will serve as a unique reference for the digital and intelligent transformation of enterprises across diverse industries.

Huawei envisions the Xinghe Intelligent Campus Solution becoming the preferred choice for global enterprises’ digital and intelligent transformation endeavors, enabling them to reap greater benefits.
