VFX teams have grappled with a quiet, unaddressed pain point for years. Fragmented tools, disjointed team communication, and endless repetitive work eat into creative time. Small-budget emerging film projects rarely get access to top-tier VFX resources. Many promising scripts get stuck waiting for overstretched post-production teams to turn around shots.

On June 9, 2026, iQIYI launched psychological thriller “None Shall Escape” on its domestic and international platforms. The film is part of its Emerging Film Project initiative, and used iQIYI’s NadouPro AI production platform. The tool boosted overall shot production efficiency by nearly 50%. A cell mutation sequence that would have taken a month of traditional work took under one week. A manor smoke haze scene skipped frame-by-frame particle simulation work entirely.

NadouPro launched for commercial use on April 20, 2026. It has already signed on more than 10,000 active creators, and supported over 100 iQIYI original productions in less than a month. Post-production leads noted the tool does not replace human creativity. It frees creators from repetitive work to focus on high-value creative decisions.

iQIYI is not just building a tool for its own content pipeline. It first locked in internal production use cases to refine NadouPro, before opening it to external creators. As it rolls out international expansion, it will capture a large share of small to mid-tier content production workflows. Traditional standalone VFX tool vendors will lose market share rapidly if they fail to integrate similar end-to-end AI and project management features.
