The Games are scheduled for April 22–30, 2026, with the Teqball events taking place at the beach venue from April 24–27.

A group of 77 athletes, consisting of 44 men and 33 women from 16 different countries, will compete across three categories:
- Men’s Doubles
- Women’s Doubles
- Mixed Doubles
The nations officially registered for the Teqball competition are as follows:
Bahrain, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, China, Iraq, Kuwait, Laos, Lebanon, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Philippines, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Syria, Thailand, and Vietnam.
To finalize preparations, a test event was recently conducted at the Sanya venue, featuring a full Teqball setup installed on the sand. Several teams from across Asia participated, allowing organizers to evaluate technical requirements, competition conditions, and operational logistics ahead of the main event.
The successful completion of the test event confirms that the venue is ready to host top-tier international athletes. The beachfront arena offers a striking backdrop, with the court positioned by the sea to provide an optimal environment for both competitors and fans.
With the participant list finalized and the venue prepared, the stage is set for an exciting Teqball tournament at the 2026 Asian Beach Games, further cementing the sport’s role in major Asian multi-sport competitions.
