This three-day event, running from May 7-9 during the opening week of the 2026 Venice Art Biennale, is presented by Loftie in collaboration with Versatile and produced by Lover LLC. It will transform a historic Venetian palazzo near the Rialto Bridge into a haven for relaxation, concentration, and quiet connection.

As countless collectors, curators, artists, and journalists converge on the city, Calm Café offers an element often missing during Biennale week: a dedicated space designed for slowing down. This public and free-to-access venue invites visitors to step away from the continuous stream of exhibitions and events to refresh or work in tranquility.

Situated within Versatile’s recently opened venue at Calle Seconda de la Fava, the experience is designed across intimate chambers, a terrace overlooking the canal, and a central lounge. During the initial days of the Biennale, the lounge will also serve as a press room, providing a space for journalists to rest between engagements.

Attendees can explore the space at their own pace, guided by a thoughtfully curated selection of calming practices aimed at resetting the senses. These include breathwork exercises using a sand timer, journaling prompts, and sensory kits featuring eye masks, earplugs, and grounding items like lavender or comfort stones. Each practice encourages moments of pause and mindfulness.

Additional programming includes morning yoga sessions, watercolor workshops, and live sound baths. All activities are optional, supporting rest, creativity, and nervous system regulation, while the space remains accessible throughout the day for quiet work or contemplation.
